June.
Heather worked her last day as Head Coach at Sparsholt when she 'retired' at the end of this month, bad news for Sparsholt but good news for those who want to organise lessons with her as she's now available during the week!
Several people are already taking advantage of this and her bookings have doubled in the last couple of weeks, if you'd like to book a lesson then do get in touch.
Heather also has had time to take on more judging, she was at the regionals earlier in the month, she has just judged two classes at the BD championships and is off to judge at Moreton Area Festival next weekend.
Poor Mandy is still recovering after her accident last month, she's definitely more mobile now though so hopefully it won't be too much longer before she can start riding again. She's just returned from a week at the BD championships looking after all the judges and writers that she's spent the last couple of months organising. Magda, Emily and Penny have kept Ryan in work for her so he'll be ready to go as soon as she is while James has enjoyed a nice holiday in a field of long grass!

Lizzie went to Sparsholt on the Sunday to have a go at her second ever attempt at the PSG, the first time away from home. The PSG is hard, especially the canter work as it all comes up thick and fast with not much margin for error but Lizzie seemed to rise to the challenge. The trot work was all pretty good, even scoring some 8s for her shoulder ins. There were some green mistakes in the canter work but she didn't worry about them and let Alison just keep riding her. She scored nearly 65% which we think is a very respectable score and was good enough for 2nd in the PYO.
Thank you so much to Tlovellphotography who not only covered our show jumping with Cheryl, she came along to Sparsholt on both days and took some lovely photos for us. Thank you Tammy!

We unfortunately had to cancel our arena eventing with Cheryl Bezants this month but we ran a popular show jumping clinic with her and a dressage clinic with Emily Harris.
Alison took part in both of these clinics with Denver and Lizzie and finished the month with successful outings to Sparsholt 's Celebration of Dressage with both horses.
On the Saturday Denver went along to do the Inter 1 in the PYO and did another solid test at this level. They had a small mistake in each set of changes and the right pirouette, always Denver's more difficult rein, didn't go quite to plan but still scored a good 66.31% which was good enough to win the small PYO class.
