November.

James  has been continuing his educational outings with Mandy this month. They had another good session with Lizzie Murray organised by Winchester Riding Club at Catherston Stud. They also had a trip round Dene Farm accompanied by the lovely Zi and  Kate and Mandy has donned her brave pants in their Cheryl Bezants lessons jumping some bigger fences now!

Alison & Lizzie had a super lesson with Emily  before heading off to Sparsholt  s BD show together a few days later.

On paper it may not seem like they had a good day but actually Alison was on the whole really pleased with Lizzies progress.  After warming up well Lizzie went 'a bit    green' in the advanced medium music which unfortunately allowed some mistakes to creep in. She did grow a little in confidence as the test went on  and finished scoring nearly 66% which  considering the mistakes was a pleasing score.

In the PSG there may have been some expensive mistakes, (piaffe in the walk and passage instead of canter to name a couple!)  which kept the score down but both Alison & Heather were thrilled with the test  as it was by far her best effort at this level.

Denver  has had a relatively easy month just hacking, jumping and easy flatwork sessions, he's on a competition break until the new year and seems to be enjoying his down time.

We still have a few clinics left to run this year as well as a couple of dressage shows, take a look at the diary page if you're interested in any of those.

We hope you all have a lovely Christmas whatever it is you are doing, (or whatever it is we're allowed to do!)
